Kotax and Schloss Hollenegg held an art soirée at Schloss Hollenegg on 21 May 2019. The highlight of the evening was the exclusive guided tour given by Princess Alice Stori Liechtenstein through the palace and the current contemporary design exhibition "ad Mensam".
Schloss Hollenegg for Design presented AD MENSAM – A design exhibition that focuses on table rituals
From Friday, 17 May 2019 to Monday, 27 May 2019, Schloss Hollenegg opened its doors and magnificent rooms again for the exhibition AD MENSAM. Eighteen designers showed recent works, most of which were commissioned exclusively for the exhibition on the topic of table rituals. Also presented to the public for the first time were the works specially designed by OS&OOS, Nel Verbeke, Katie Scott and Katie Stout, Designers in Residence – 2018 programme, for Schloss Hollenegg for Design.
AD MENSAM is Latin for “at the table”. The exhibition aims to make the table a place to experience, where people come together, share food, follow table customs, argue and make up again.The table stands here as a symbol for human interactions and reflects rituals and traditions.
